Trilogy Very Gentle Cleansing Cream

I’m sure we all know how important it is to look after your skin, and for that reason cleansing is now the most important step in my skincare routine. For years, all I used to remove my make-up and wash my face was a simple face wipe, but now I’m getting older, that’s just not enough anymore and I need to start taking better care of my skin… Enter Trilogy Very Gentle Cleansing Cream.

Trilogy Very Gentle Cleansing Cream is a creamy, light and un-fragranced cleanser perfect for those with sensitive skin. You simply massage it onto damp skin on your face and neck and rinse off using warm water and a face cloth. I've been using this everyday as my evening cleanser because that is when I have the tough job of removing my make-up, however, this would be equally as nice as a morning cleanser as it is so gentle and leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft.

Now I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, only around my eyes so I usually remove my eye make-up with a special eye make-up remover before cleansing to remove the make-up on the rest of my face. However, this product states that it is for ‘delicate cleansing and eye make-up removal’ so I decided to put it to the test. I would like to point out that removing my eye-make up is no easy task, I love to layer on my mascara and it’s not the easiest to remove so this was going to be the ultimate test and I’m pleased to say it passed with flying colours! It removed all traces of mascara, eye-liner and eye-shadow and it didn’t sting one bit! It also feels incredibly nourishing on my skin, so much so that I don’t even feel like I need to moisturise after using it (I still moisturise regardless, as I'm trying to be good and look after my skin but it makes a nice change from other cleansers that leave my skin feeling tight and dry and begging for moisture).

                                                                                           

The packaging is very simple and classic and looks nice on display in my bathroom. It’s also nice and light so I've been able to take it with me on nights I'm not at home which is a bonus.

If you have sensitive skin I would most definitely recommend you to check out this Trilogy Very Gentle Cleansing Cream, or even if you don’t have sensitive skin and want an effective and nourishing cleanser then this is for you.
